China's household PV installed capacity exceeds 100 million kilowatts covering more than 5 million farmers

According to the national energy bureau statistics, as of the end of September this year, the national household distributed photovoltaic cumulative installed capacity exceeded 100 million kilowatts, reaching 105 million kilowatts, boosting China's total installed capacity of photovoltaic power generation over 500 million kilowatts, reaching 520 million kilowatts. According to statistics, at present, the cumulative number of household distributed PV installations in rural areas in China has exceeded 5 million households, driving effective investment of more than 500 billion yuan.

In recent years, China's household distributed photovoltaic rapid development, the economy continues to strengthen, business models continue to innovate, the scale of development of repeated innovation, to achieve a large-scale leapfrog development, to ensure the safe and reliable supply of electricity, promote the development of energy green transformation, drive farmers to increase income and employment and other aspects of the role played an important role, and has achieved a good comprehensive socio-economic benefits. From January to September this year, the national household distributed PV newly installed 32.977 million kilowatts, accounting for about half of the distributed PV newly installed, more than a quarter of the total national PV newly installed, is last year's annual household PV newly installed scale (25.25 million kilowatts) of 1.3 times. From the regional distribution, as of the end of September this year, Shandong, Henan, Hebei household distributed PV cumulative installed capacity in the country's top three, installed capacity were 24.48 million kilowatts, 20.84 million kilowatts, 16.66 million kilowatts, a total of 61.98 million kilowatts, accounting for about 60%.

According to the relevant institutions, China's rural areas can be installed PV roof area of about 27.3 billion square meters, more than 80 million households, the development potential is huge.
