Government Policy

The National Energy Administration (NEA) released its annual report on the rule of law government in 2023, and will actively promote the development and revision of the renewable energy law and other laws in 2024.

Seven departments, including the General Administration of Market Supervision, jointly issued the Action Plan for Traction of Equipment Renewal and Consumer Goods Replacement by Standard Enhancement, which emphasizes adherence to standard-led, orderly enhancement, strengthening of standard comparison and optimization of the system, and calls for accelerating the preparation and revision of standards in the fields of energy conservation and carbon reduction, environmental protection, safety, recycling and other areas.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the Ministry of Finance (MOF) and other seven departments jointly issued the Implementation Program for Promoting the Renewal of Equipment in the Industrial Sector.

On April 8, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) issued a notice on the issuance of the Measures for the Administration of Special Investments within the Central Budget for Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction.

On April 2, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) released on its official website the Implementation Measures for the Division of Distribution Areas for Incremental Power Distribution Business.

The HCM City Development and Reform Commission has issued an announcement on the public solicitation of opinions on the Implementation Plan for the Carbon Peak Pilot Program in HCM City (Draft for Opinion).

The National Energy Board issued the "Distribution Grid Security Risk Management and Control Key Action Work Program", which mentioned that the work focuses on analyzing the distribution grid network structure, access to new grid-connected subjects, equipment and facility safety management, operation and maintenance, network security in the process of transformation and upgrading, emergency response, and other aspects of the analysis.

The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) announced the Measures for the Supervision of Fully Guaranteed Acquisition of Renewable Energy Electricity. It applies to non-water renewable energy power generation such as wind power, solar power, biomass power, ocean power, geothermal power and other non-water renewable energy power generation, and will come into force on April 1st.

A few days ago, the National Energy Board issued a notice on the special supervision of construction safety and engineering quality of electric power construction in 2024.

The Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) issued the Circular on Further Improving and Optimizing the Grouping and Submission of Land Use for Major Construction Projects in Energy, Transportation and Water Conservancy.
