National Energy Administration Releases National Electric Power Industry Statistics for January-September 2024
On October 21, the National Energy Administration released statistics on the national electric power industry from January to September.
As of the end of September, the country's cumulative installed power generation capacity of about 3.16 billion kilowatts, an increase of 14.1%. Among them, the installed capacity of solar power generation of about 770 million kilowatts, an increase of 48.3%; wind power installed capacity of about 480 million kilowatts, an increase of 19.8%.
From January to September, the cumulative average utilization of power generation equipment nationwide was 2,619 hours, 106 hours less than the same period last year. from January to September, the country's major power generation enterprises completed investment in power supply projects of 595.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.21 TP3T. power grid projects completed investment of 398.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 21.11 TP3T.
