National Energy Administration: electricity consumption of the whole society in August increased by 8.9% year-on-year

In August, the whole society used 964.9 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, an increase of 8.9%.

In August, the primary industry used 14.9 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, an increase of 4.6%; the secondary industry used 567.9 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, an increase of 4%; the tertiary industry used 190.3 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, an increase of 11.2%; and urban and rural residents lived in the electricity consumption of 191.8 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 23.7%.
