On June 28, the National Energy Administration (NEA) released statistics on the nation's power industry from January to May.

As of the end of May, the country's cumulative installed power generation capacity of about 3.04 billion kilowatts, an increase of 14.1%. Among them, the installed capacity of solar power generation of about 690 million kilowatts, an increase of 52.2%; installed capacity of wind power of about 460 million kilowatts, an increase of 20.5%. 1-5 months, the country's power generation equipment cumulative average utilization of 1,372 hours, a decrease of 59 hours over the same period of the previous year. From January to May, the national major power generation enterprises completed investment of 257.8 billion yuan in power supply projects, an increase of 6.5% year-on-year. 173.0 billion yuan was invested in power grid projects, an increase of 21.6% year-on-year.

Solar power generation, January to May added 79.15 million kilowatts, only in May 19.04 million kilowatts of new installations, an increase of 47.6%.
