On December 10, 2023, Minister of Industry and Information Technology Jin Zhuanglong met with Saudi Investment Minister Khalid Al-Falih in Beijing. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia in the fields of industry and informatization.
Jin Zhuanglong said that under the strategic leadership of the heads of state of the two countries, cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia in the field of industry and informatization has made great progress. China is accelerating the promotion of new industrialization, Saudi Arabia is rich in resources and vast market, the two sides have great potential for cooperation. China is willing to work with the Saudis to promote cooperation between the two countries in the field of new energy vehicles, aircraft, photovoltaic, artificial intelligence and other areas to achieve more results, and jointly maintain the global industrial chain, supply chain security and stability.
Al-Falih said Saudi Arabia attaches great importance to cooperation with China in the field of industry and informatization, and hopes that the two sides will continue to expand exchanges and cooperation in the future, and actively carry out strategic docking to achieve mutual benefit and win-win development.
Heads of relevant departments and bureaus of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology attended the meeting.
